For my Ball of Beasts installation at Beacon’s Howland Library, I transformed the children’s section into a whimsical ballroom tucked between the stacks. Twelve handsewn creature puppets — each dressed in their finest — gathered for an enchanted evening of mystery, mischief, and make-believe. A celebration of storytelling, costume, and childhood wonder, staged right in the heart of Main Street.
