A Sharper Shape Emerging

This new website didn’t begin as a branding exercise. It began as a feeling — like something waiting to take shape.

For years, I’ve been making: masks, puppets, creatures, objects. Some theatrical, some sculptural, some harder to name. I’ve moved between disciplines and definitions, trusting instinct more than strategy. But in redesigning this site, I realized I was ready to define the world these things belong to — or at least sketch its edges.

And in doing that, I had to ask myself: What is this work really trying to do? What do I want it to offer? And why does it feel so urgent now?

Here’s what I know:

There is a world just out of reach. We knew it once — as children — in that space between pretending and believing. Before we were taught the difference.

We can’t return to it fully. And maybe we’re not meant to.

But we can make something new. Something of our own.

That’s what this work has always been for me — a way back to something lost, or nearly forgotten. Not with nostalgia, but with intention. A reminder that we can shape the world we want to inhabit, even if only in glimpses. Even if it lives on a wall or on a stage or in the hands of someone who still believes in story.

So yes, this new site is more refined. The brand is darker, clearer, more focused. But the heart of it remains the same:

To make the unreal feel near.

To build what’s just out of reach.

To leave behind proof that it existed.

Throughout this post, you’ll find a mood board — not a blueprint, but a window. A hint of what’s ahead. A reflection of where the work is going.

I hope you’ll stay close.
